Premium Billing is a system of micro payments where the cost of a transaction is billed to a handset/mobile account. It is generally accepted that the term Premium Billing refers to any message that costs more than the carriers basic or standard message cost. Each network offers different Premium Billing tariff options based on Short Code numbers.
