How do I know if my message was sent?
Every carrier network is different, but when a message is sent there is usually some confirmation by the network that the message has been sent. Usually it says "Message Sent" or "Sent OK". If there is a network problem, a message will immediately come back saying "Message Not Sent" or the like. If this happens, there was just some network congestion, so simply resend the message.
If you get a successful send to the network, you can assume that the Internet message went as well. The Internet, however, does not have message acknowledgment. If you put in the wrong email address, or mistyped the domain name, you may get a message back from the internet (from the Message Delivery Subsystem, or something similar), but you may not, depending upon why the message failed. Check the Mail Log on the Bulletin Mail website to confirm that the system received your message.
